The Disabled People’s Association (Singapore) is a voluntary welfare organisation which serves as an advocate of all persons with disabilities. In line with its mission to be the Voice of People with Disabilities, it will host the Third International Conference for Accessible Tourism (ICAT 2009) from April 22 - 26, 2009.

Conference Partner - i-CREATe 2009
Building on the success of her previous convention in 2007 and 2008, which were graced by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindorn, Thailand, we are expecting a bigger convention in 2009 with over 500 delegates at the conference and workshops. Exhibition will run alongside with the conference and will be opened to trade and public. Into the 2nd installment of the Student Design Challenge, i-CREATe aims to give our next generation a better understanding of disabilities and how using assistive and rehabilitation technologies can help to improve the quality of life for person with disabilities.
